Ms. Wheelchair Ohio 2025 was selected after a weekend-long event at the Salt Fork Lodge and Conference Center. Four contestants, Alexandra Martinez of Cleveland, Devyn Nicholson of Mount Vernon, Renee Plascencia of Bucyrus, and Rebekah Wyse of Beavercreek, arrived at the Salt Fork Lodge and Conference Center on Saturday, 3/15/2025.

Alexandra, born with spina bifida, is 29 years old, works as a
secretary for a local community center, and is currently training for a
powerlifting competition in the spring. She also advocates for disability rights
through Youth Challenge, organizing disability pride events for kids with
disabilities. In 2020, Alexandra was Ms. Wheelchair Ohio USA, where her platform
was Disability Representation in the Media. She is passionate about dance too,
having earned an Associate of the Arts degree and choreographing many dances she
shares online.
Alexandra ‘s platform: Dancing through Disability, spreading awareness of the
therapeutic benefits of dance and the importance of disability inclusion in
creative spaces and everywhere.
She will contribute to a more inclusive society by sharing her platform with
communities across Ohio. Additionally, Alexandra will serve as a leader, role
model, and spokesperson for the disability community in our state. Her reign
will culminate when she travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to compete for the
title of Ms. Wheelchair America 2026.
